Treasure Bay

The Baie des Trésors is a legendary place located in Martinique, renowned for its rich history and magnificent landscapes. According to legend, pirates once hid their treasures in this bay. Today, the Bay of Treasures attracts visitors for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters and coral reefs rich in biodiversity. This bay is a very little frequented site, sheltered from winds and currents. This little haven of peace is perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

Werewolf Island

This islet is one of the 10 islets of Robert Bay in Martinique and is located approximately 9km east of the town of Robert. It is a very white and very fine sandbank which rests on a bed of rocks. This heavenly island is a dream come true for many with its coconut trees and absolute calm.

Caravel lighthouse

The Caravelle lighthouse is an iconic landmark located at the tip of the Caravelle peninsula, in Martinique. It was built in 1861 and is one of the oldest lighthouses on the island. Perched atop a steep cliff, the lighthouse offers spectacular panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding landscapes. Château Dubuc

In 1657, Pierre Dubuc, originally from Dieppe in Normandy, arrived in Martinique to escape the musketeers of the King of France, following a duel.

As a reward for his victories against the Indians, he took possession of Trinidad and Tartane from 1671 and began growing sugar cane, coffee and tobacco.

A place full of mystery and secrets:

The location, importance and activities of Château Dubuc make it a residence with a dark past… Beneath its appearance as a large 18th century sugar house, certain smuggling activities and trafficking in goods and slaves are suspected.

Certain clues make evident the clandestine practices that took place there: warehouses oversized compared to the sugar factory, chests, slave dungeons, etc.

Chancel Islet

Chancel Islet, the largest of the 10 islets in Robert Bay, Martinique, is known for its historical sugar plantation ruins and as home to one of the last colonies of Caribbean iguanas (Iguana delicatissima). This private islet offers a glimpse into the island’s heritage, with scenic views and unique wildlife. Visitors can admire the rich history and natural beauty of this hidden gem.
